Thermochromatic packaging is on the rise in the beauty world. We first saw it with Hugo Hugo Boss back in 2014, and since then with a few other cosmetics brands. One of the latest to use the technology is a new skin care brand called Naked. In packaging created by Russian designer Stas Neretin, the line of jars, tubes and bottles take on the color and texture of bare skin, even reacting to touch, thanks to the thermochromatic paint that responds to the warmth of your hands. The packaging is shapely to begin with, but you can tap, pinch, or merely hold the bottle in your hand to see it “blush,” and to reconfigure its soft curves.
